Saving your more money!

I love finding more sites that can help save money. And with Christmas coming sooner than you think, it's nice to be able to go to a place to get a deal for your holiday shopping. Edealfinder.com is another coupon site that steers you in the direction of money saving coupons and deals to make your pocketbook a little happier while you're playing Santa. You can pick up some good Chadwick's coupons there for the fashionista on your list. Or maybe your kid needs a computer... they have some great HP coupons there too. Of course I'm partial to HP (both my desktop and laptop are HP models, and the next ones will be too), and they have coupons for other computer shops as well, but I love it when I can find an HP discount when I'm on the hunt for a new system. One thing I like about this site is they have a link to "today's new coupons", which is good to see what the latest deals are. Oh, and since I mentioned Christmas, did I also mention coupons for the Disney store? They got 'em! Go grab 'em!

Jingle bells, jingle bells...

You know that long standing joke that you've heard time and time again around the holidays... "What are you getting me for Christmas this year?" Answer: "Same thing I got you last year." Well this year it's not going to be a joke if my husband asks me. Last year I bought him what he really wanted, which was a wooden ship model of the Bluenose. He really impressed me, the hours he was spending building this boat, sanding and sanding and gluing these itty bitty parts, and I could tell he was really quite proud of himself too. I had bought it with visions of it sitting partially put together, if that much, and then just collecting dust, but I have to say he did shock me with the enthusiasm put into this project. Then one day, when it was about half way finished a horrible thing happened. Our black lab (his dog) decided he needed a new chew toy, and this wooden ship with many man hours invested in seemed like just the thing to chew on. I thought my husband was literally going to cry when he discovered what Brutus had so brutally done. I don't remember if I blogged about it or not, and I'm too lazy to go back and check through my archives. I do know though that I wanted to give that dog up for adoption at that point. I was right p.o.'d about it!

So anyway, to get to the point of this post, I've decided that this year I'm going to shell out another $100 or so and replace that model for my hubby, and will dutifully make sure that blasted lab keeps his chompers off it! I'm going to check out Coupon Chief and see if there are any good coupons for my holiday shopping this year. I'm going to see if there are any good HobbyTron codes, with hopes of course that they carry this model.

While I'm checking at Coupon Chief, I'll see what's available for The Popcorn Factory deals too. I usually order some popcorn treats for my nephew and his family out west. He's a huge popcorn freak, and of course his little ones have followed suit to be just like Daddy too, so they love it when they get a popcorn assortment in the mail from their Auntie!

I plan on doing most of my holiday shopping online this year to save me from having to head out with the crazy mobs in the malls. That's why I love a site like Coupon Chief to help me save a buck or two here and there. It all adds up, and that leaves more money to buy myself a gift or two! ;-)

Saving more money!

Cool beans! I came across another site with coupons to use for online shopping. You can never have too many sites like this saved in your favorites. You never know when the urge or need to shop for something will arise, and when the time comes, if you can coupon a deal, all the better!

This site is called "Keep Cash", as you may have figured out from their cool logo I'm showing here. Great name for a site like this, because I want to get the goods and keep some cash too! They have savings from over 1000 different merchants, so you're sure to find somewhere you like to shop there.

I was happy to see that they have The Body Shop deals there, since our local Body Shop store closed apparently. I don't know why it closed, but when I went to the mall it was in I was going to pick up a few things I there, like their mango scented bath and body products. I love mangoes, and the mango scent too! Oh, and I love their peppermint foot spray too. That stuff is awesome after being on your feet all day at work! Anyway, I went to that part of the mall and there was nothing in that spot except for a big empty spot with green carpeting. Oh well, at least I can still order online, and now I know I can also save some money on my orders there too!

Woohoo! I love coupon savings!

As you know I'm in redecorating mode right now while Hubby is up at the cottage catching fish! And as you also know, what started out as a little painting project has mushroomed into a much bigger project in my kitchen. The local building supply stores are grinning when they see me walk through the doors right now! Well I've decided that I need a new light fixture in my kitchen now too. The old one is just icky and I don't like it anymore. I need a brushed nickel one instead!

And when this job is done, I've also decided that I'm going to put some laminate flooring in my living room. I have it currently in my dining room and hall, and I love it, but what I want to do is take that up and put that laminate in my bedroom, then buy new flooring for my living/dining/hall, which all adjoin to each other. I can't get the same type as I already have, so I figure I'll have to buy new and do the whole sha-bang over again. It's pretty easy to install though, so that part doesn't worry me. It's just the whole cost factor is all. However, I was just browsing over at Coupon Chief to see if I could find any
coupons to get some redecorating goodies, and I clicked through to see what the Home Depot deals were currently. Yippee! They have a deal on laminate flooring right now! I was so excited to find that! So now I'm also going to check out the clearance items and value center to see if I can find a light fixture for my kitchen that I like and save some bucks there too! Don't you just love Coupon Chief?

Like free stuff?

Yeah, I know. Who doesn't like free stuff? I know I most certainly do, and I'll bet you do too! Have you ever heard of Jaci Rae? Jaci is an award-winning singer and best-selling author, and she likes free things too. So much in fact that she's written a book on this subject, and she gives all kinds of tips on How to get free things plus save all kinds of money on everything from groceries to college tuition. Like for instance did you ever know that there is a David Letterman college scholarship? I didn't either, but these are things that Jaci will teach you. There are several college scholarships that I didn't know existed, and wouldn't have even imagined that they did.

Jaci can also show you how you can buy clothing at savings like 95% off! And we're talking brand names here. Sears, Victoria's Secret, Old Navy and Macy's are some of the stores she speaks of to get these deep discount savings. She'll tell you where to find every free sample and coupon you could possibly need. And with the exuberant price of gas these days, Jaci will also teach you how to pay much less at the pumps.

So if you have champagne dreams and are living on beer wages, check out what Jaci Rae has to say and start saving money today!

Coupon mania!

Over the past few years I've started doing a lot more of my shopping online, rather than fighting the crowds at the malls. And the fact that I can shop at so many stores I don't have access to here at home. Take Pottery Barn for example. They have a store in Toronto that I've been to, but that's over an hour away and the traffic getting there sucks. Then of course there's also the task of finding a parking spot. And even more importantly, I just don't have the spare time to take off and go shopping whenever I want.

Ever since I first found the Coupon Chief site though, I always head there first when I plan on shopping online. They have all kinds of coupon codes for hundreds of different stores, with many of them being big names and they even have Pottery Barn coupons! Online shopping and a coupon too. That's what I'm talking about!
