Riddle to ponder

Here’s a riddle I received in my email box that I thought was kind of neat. I’ve been trying it out on all my friends and family, and thought I’d share it here too. Let me know if you can figure it out…

What is:

1. Greater than God.
2. More evil than the Devil.
3. The poor have it.
4. The rich don't need it.
5. If you eat it, you'll die.
