Never too old

It's true... you're never too old to learn new things. Take my mother in law for instance. She's 75 years old, and has just recently got into computers. When my sister in law bought a new system for herself, she gave her old computer to her mom. That was just six months or so ago. Now she's surfing the web like an old pro. You can talk some tech talk to her and she understands what you're talking about. When she first started she thought she'd never learn anything at all, and wouldn't be able to find anything or do anything with this computer, but her tune has since changed. Now she's talking about taking some courses to learn how do other things, like creating graphics and such. So that just goes to show you that you're never too old to learn anything new. And the great thing about the Internet, is that even if you want to learn, sometimes distance may get in the way, especially if you're older and have a family you can't leave behind to head out to a college campus across the state. But distance learning has all changed now. You can learn right in the comfort of your own home; your classroom is computer screen, and your campus is online.

Capella University is one such online campus. This is a fully online university offering several different graduate and bachelor's degree programs. They've been around since 1993, are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and they have students from 56 countries, including students from all 50 states. As well, if you qualify for federal financial aid, you can use this to help pay your tuition at Capella.

So if you want to learn, don't let age, or distance get in the way of that. You're never too old, and you're never to far away. It is possible to enrich yourself no matter what barriers you think you may have.
