ATC frenzy!

My sister in law belongs to this online crafting club, and has been making gobs and gobs of greeting cards, ATC cards (artist trading cards) and fat book pages. After much nagging on her part, I did join this club as well. Again, why do I do these things to myself?! I love this craft, although I am quite new to making ATC cards, and I've never made a fat book yet, but they are cool.

Anyway, so I joined the club a couple months back, but haven't really been participating much. I just don't seem to have the time to read all the posts there. These ladies are forum freaks! Nice ladies, but I think they're all a little older, and most of them retired, so they have the free time that I don't. So the other day, my SIL was at my mother in laws when I was there, and she asked me when I was going to do a swap. I told her one day when I have the creative bug. I can't seem to sit down to make something unless I'm in the mood. And I also told her, besides I can't do any swaps yet, because I haven't made enough posts there yet to qualify for participating in a swap. She assured me that if I were to private message one of the ladies running the swaps that they'd let me in. So I told her I'd look into it, and do that.

Next thing you know, I've got a message from this nice lady in Australia asking me to do a swap with her for three ATC cards, and I can do whatever theme I want to do. Yikes! I've got enough on my plate right now, but I couldn't say no to her. I mean, she asked so nicely! So now I'm racking my brain trying to think up what I'm going to do. I wish she would have given me some sort of theme. I emailed my SIL and she informed me that she was chatting with this lady and they got talking about me, so that's how this swap all came to be. She also told me this lady loves teddy bears, so I'm going to stop by Michaels and see what they have with teddy bears for stickers or something. That will take care of one card, but I still have two to think about, and stress about getting them made and sent out!
